Sie wurde von dem berühmten Glossator Accursio oder Accorso, der dort 40 Jahre lang Jura lehrte und 1260 als Achtzigjähriger starb, von Florenz nach Bologna verpflanzt. Seine Söhne Francesco, Guglielmo und Cervolto traten in die Fußstapfen ihres Vaters und unterrichteten ebenfalls im Studio von Bologna und außerhalb Italien. Viele aus dieser Familie waren ältere Menschen und besaßen zwei Türme in Bologna, von denen der dem Glossator gehörende auf dem Hauptplatz, der heute dell'Orologio heißt, bemerkenswert ist. Andere Branche. Die Familie rühmt sich der Nachkommen des berühmten Glossators Accorso, eines Rechtslehrers in Bologna, der dort 1260 starb. Andere doktrinäre und juristische Elemente wurden von den Accursi geboren, die älter waren und zwei Türme in Bologna besaßen.
