Coseigneurs de Montfaucon Du Velay, señores de Alès, Vazeilhes, Bruyère-Vériliac, parroquia Sauzet de Yssingeaux. Nobleza de vestir. Filiación desde que Blaise Alès vivió en 1510, padre de Claude Squire, co-señor con el rey de la ciudad de Montfaucon, señor de Vazeilhes, teniente general del alguacil y del Juez Real de Velay (1522-1559), quien llevó a cabo una investigación el 13 Noviembre de 1556, sobre el tema de la malversación cometida por los oficiales del obispo contra los habitantes del Mandement de Bonnas, entonces pendiente ante el Parlamento de Toulouse, para obtener justicia. Blaise II (1568), secretario de los Estados de Velay, cónsul de Montfaucon, señor de Rochepaule, se casó con Christine des Serpens (hija de Jean y Marie de Loudes). Jean, su hijo, coseigneur de Montfaucon, murió en 1606, después de aliarse con Anne du Faure, hermana del noble Jean du Faure. Otro señor Jean de Sauzey, casado en 1644,
