Coseigneurs di Montfaucon Du Velay, signori di Alès, Vazeilhes, Bruyère-Vériliac, Parrocchia di Sauzet di Yssingeaux. Nobiltà del vestito. Filiazione da quando Blaise Alès viveva nel 1510, padre dello scudiero Claude, co-signore del re della città di Montfaucon, signore di Vazeilhes, tenente generale dell'ufficiale giudiziario e del giudice reale di Velay (1522-1559), che svolse un'indagine il 13 Novembre 1556, in materia di appropriazione indebita commessa dagli ufficiali del vescovo contro gli abitanti del Mandement de Bonnas, quindi pendente dinanzi al Parlamento di Tolosa, al fine di ottenere giustizia. Blaise II (1568), impiegato degli Stati di Velay, console di Montfaucon, signore di Rochepaule, sposò Christine des Serpens (figlia di Jean e Marie de Loudes). Jean, il loro figlio, coseigneur di Montfaucon, morì nel 1606, dopo essere stato alleato con Anne du Faure, sorella del nobile Jean du Faure. Un altro Jean signore di Sauzey, sposato nel 1644, Anna de Terrasse de Chabanoles.
