Nobilissimo casato francese, anticamente detto de la Croix de Blois de Quartes, diramatosi in molte regioni francesi ed italiane. Originari di Laonnais, i membri di tal famiglia, vennero nobilitati nel 1521, con la relativa attribuzione dello stemma.
