Mehr als ein Jahrhundert lang, d. h. im Jahr 1715, war es dem Rat von Udine unterstellt, aus dem sein Adelsstand hervorging, der durch einen souveränen Beschluss vom 24. November 1820 bestätigt wurde. Ab 1767 genoss dasselbe aufgrund der Feudalherrschaft den Grafentitel im männlichen Geschlecht Gerichtsbarkeit mit dem besagten Titel, der vom venezianischen Senat in der Villa von Bagnaria in Friaul erworben wurde. Zu dieser Familie gehörte der Grafentitel, den die Kaiser an ihre Angehörigen verliehen. Aus diesen Grafen wurden diejenigen ausgewählt, die mit der Aufsicht über die Ämter des königlichen Palastes beauftragt waren, und andere wurden entsandt, um die Provinzen des Reiches zu regieren und die Grenzen zu bewachen. Dann gab es noch andere Grafen, die nichts mit den oben genannten Ämtern zu tun hatten, wie zum Beispiel diejenigen, die für die Annona und den Handel zuständig waren; und auch die Armeekommissare führten diesen Titel.
