Il 17 marzo 1706 Nicolò di Udine, vescovo di Cittanova nell'Istria, assieme ai nipoti Nicolò e Carlo qu. Tomaso, presentava una istanza al Consiglio nobile di Udine, chiedendo che la sua famiglia venisse accolta nella nobiltà udinese, affermando che essa in antico era già stata nobile della città, ma che poi per dissesti finanziarii aveva voluto ritirarsi in campagna, dove per alcuni sec. era vissuta oscura ed ignorata. Eurighino de Pistoriis da Cremona, cancelliere del Patriarca d'Aquileja, del quale si hanno notizie dal 1306 al 1350 e che realmente era fra i consiglieri della città, come lo furono poi i suoi discendenti fino al principio del sec.
