Adscrita desde tiempo remoto al noble Consejo de Cattaro, en 1715 fue condecorada por el Senado veneciano con el título de conde en la persona de Antonio, que se encontraba en Venecia como embajador de la ciudad de Cattaro, y confirmada en su nobleza ancestral con una resolución soberana del 16 de mayo de 1824 Muchas familias que vivían en Venecia pertenecían a la nobleza. En el Libro de Oro de la nobleza veneciana y en el Patriciado veneciano después de la guerra de Candia y el Lockout del Maggior Consiglio de 1646, acontecimientos que dejaron fama inmortal por su gran sabiduría política y sus virtudes ciudadanas, encontramos a esta familia ilustre.
