Casa alemã antiga e muito nobre, de virtude clara e ancestral, que se espalhou ao longo dos séculos em diferentes regiões da Europa, incluindo Suíça, Áustria, França, Bélgica e outras. Esse sobrenome deriva da palavra alemã antiga "artesanato", que significa "forte" ou "corajosa". No início da Idade Média, Kraft era um nome popular entre os cavaleiros porque se refere à força e, pelo mesmo motivo, algumas famílias o adotaram como sobrenome.
