Esiste una città con questo nome nel distretto giudiziario di Bilbao, che potrebbe essere correlata a questo cognome. Ad Alza, paese del distretto giudiziario di San Sebastián, c'era una casa di Miravalles che esibiva le seguenti armi: D'oro, con un albero sinople, e due lupi sciabola, lampasado rosso, intriso al tronco. Sulla base dei riferimenti degli storici dell'epoca e di altri rinvenuti da Araldis negli archivi anagrafici di città e altri privati, potremmo affermare, ma non assicurare, che questo scudo o un altro ad esso molto simile, apparve inizialmente dal XI al XIV secolo secolo, in particolare nel ripopolamento della Castiglia nel XII secolo, essendo una delle 100 famiglie a cui fu concesso il territorio di Segovia. Tutto ciò sembra coincidere con il ricordo familiare di alcuni membri del ramo Miravalles della famiglia.
