Esta familia toma su origen de Vigone y la fabula al hacerla derivar de Giulio Sillano, cónsul en 692 a. C. Los recuerdos seguros nos recuerdan a Antonio Sillano, padre de Sillano Francesco, Maria y Chiaffredo, que vivió a fines del siglo XV. Bernardino pertenecía a esta familia, que era profesora de leyes y Biella, luego fue senador del Piamonte (1620) y quien fue investido con activos aliados en Vigone, hecho feudal el 2 de julio de 1623.
