He emigrated to North America in 1775, sailing from the Port of London aboard the ship named the 'Calvert' on the 13th of March , arriving in Maryland on the 20th of the same, where he served as an indentured servant. Today, 'Barlow' is the 'Nine hundred and ninety eighth' most common surname in North America.
