Pedro se refere a Diogo B. de Riba do Minho, casado com D. Loba, filha de D. Mem de Gundar e de D. Toda. Não se sabe, porém deduzir dos antigos os que mais tarde houve. No tempo em que o cardeal D. Henrique, depois, Rei, foi arcebispo de Braga, servia de provisor e governador do arcebispado o Dr. Pedro B., que, parece, era natual de Évora. De Lisboa: família de origem espanhola, descendente de Miguel-José B., que n. em Sevilla a 14.10.1746 e f. a 14.4.1806 (filho de Miguel B. e mulher Doña Juana Ciestenes) e mulher Doña Sebastiana Portillo, de quem teve, além de outros filhos, a: António-Maria B., o primeiro desta família que veio para Portugal, n. em Sevilha a 12.1.1792 e f. em Lisboa a 7.9.1858, tendo c. em Lisboa, a 28.10.1816, com D. Francisca-Maria-da-Conceição da Silva Gonçalves (da família dos marquês de Franco e visconde de Falcarreira). Destes foi filho António-Maria B., importante armador de navios (casa fundada em 1837) que teve sete filhos. ...
