Herzschild, darin ein g "Lilie" (Tulpe an langem beblättertem Stengel); 1. u. 4. auf gr. Dreiberg ein g.-bewehrtes b. Einhorn; 2. n. 8. drei achteckige S. Sterne in Schrägreihe. Gekr. Spangenhelm: das Einhorn wachsend zwischen zwei # g. - g. # geteilten Flügeln, die belegt sind je mit b. Schrägbalken darin die drei Sterne. Decken: # g. - r. S. (Nach Heyers Zeichnung). Hörnig (Hornig, Horning, Harnig, Hörnigk) (Taf. 32.) Ursprunglich Breslauer Stadtgeschlecht; später unter dem Landadel vorkommend. Im Breslauer Rathe finden sich Mitglieder des Geschlechtes von 1428 1552. Paulus H. Mitglied des Rathes 1423-1434, 1433 königl.
