Francisco M., natural de Sevilla, tuvo por esposa a doña Leonor Ponce de León, en la que procreó a Alonso M. y Ponce de León, natural de Sevilla, que casó con doña Leonor de Saavedra y Santillán, de igual naturaleza (hija de Juan de Saavedra M., Caballero de la Orden de Santiago, y de doña Beatriz de Santillan ambos de Sevilla). De esa unión nació Francisco M. y Saavedra, natural de Sevilla, Paje de S. M. y Caballero de la Orden de Santiago, en la que ingresó el 15 de Febrero de 1621. Casó con doña Beatriz de Santillán y Venegas, de la misma naturaleza (hija de Francisco Fernández de Santillán, natural de Sevilla, y de doña Urraca Venegas, natural de Córdoba). Fueron padres de Rodrigo M. y Santillán, natural de Sevilla y Caballero de Calatrava, desde el 20 de Junio de 1650, y Alonso M. y Santillán, natural de Sevilla y Caballero de la Orden de Santiago, desde el 27 de Enero de 1630. Casó con doña Isabel Ortiz de Melgarejo y tuvo a Francisco M., sin sucesión, y a Beatriz de M., mujer de Francisco Madariaga y Gaviria, segundo Marqués de las Torres de la Presa, con sucesión. De la misma familia fué Francisco Fernández de M. y Portocarrero, natural de Sevilla, que celebró su enlace con doña Mencía de Padilla, también de Sevilla. Tuvieron esta hija Catalina M. y Padilla, natural de Sevilla y esposa de Luis de Prado y Almanza, de igual naturaleza, que la hizo madre de Luis de M. y Almanza. Otra casa muy antigua. Benito M. natural de Sevilla, soltero, hijo de Bernardo de Cumo Campos y de Ana M, emprendió viaje a Santo Domingo el 13 enero 1579 desde el puerto de Sevilla, según consta en el Archivo General de Indias. ...
