Nobility crown MuesesLa casa solariega de M., primitiva y armera, radicó en la antigua Merindad de Pamplona, y, según afirma un tratadista, procedían sus caballeros de la noble familia italiana de Muso, aunque no aporta pruebas de su aserto. De dicha casa procedió Domigno de M. Comandante de Artillería y Caballero de la Orden de Santiago, que pasó a la Isla de Santo Domingo, donde contrajo matrimonio con doña Francisca de Ovando, a la que hizo madre de Miguel de M. y Ovando, Capitán Graduado de Coronel del Batallón Fijo de aquella isla, que casó el 4 de Abril de 1699, con doña María Josefa Fernández (hija de Sancho Fernández, Regidor de la ciudad de Santo Domingo, y de doña Elvira de Figueroa). De esa unión fué hijo Manuel de M. y Fernández, bautizado en la ciudad de Santo Domingo el 15 de Junio de 1721, que celebró su enlace el 4 de Febrero de 1740, con doña Juana de Silva y Rojas (hija del Regidor y Alférez Real, Alfonso María de Silva, y de doña María Manuela de Rojas). Procrearon a Antonia de M. y Silva, bautizada en la ciudad de Santo Domingo el 20 de Julio de 1741, y casada el 5 de Agosto de 1760, con Manuel Álvarez de Bobadilla, del que tuvo a Juana Álvarez de Bobadilla y M., que casó con Francisco Figueroa de Vargas, natural de Nueva Barcelona. ...
